Maintenance & Inspection

When Should You Call for Service?

If left untreated smaller plumbing issues may lead to more costly repairs down the line.
Here are some things to consider:

  • Routine inspection can save money over time by uncovering potential problems throughout your home and help to prevent expensive plumbing emergencies.
  • Think about the harm you may do to the health to your home before you reach for that bottle of toxic chemicals. Call a professional to help save wear and tear on your pipes and help protect your family and the environment.
  • Years of soap, scale, grease and sludge build-up can lead to costly repairs. Periodic video inspection and high-pressure flushing can add years to your system’s performance.
  • Talk to your plumber to learn about the steps you can take to protect your home during seasonal changes.

Spring/summer
Freeze / thaw cycles and spring rains can wreak havoc on your sump pump. Be sure to have it inspected and flushed well before the threat of high water is here.

Fall/Winter
Prevent frozen pipes by wrapping pipes or heat tracing high risk pipes.
Protect outside faucets by shutting off water supply even if it is labeled ‘frost-free’.
