1977 Monona Plumbing, Inc. started by Phil McManamy, John Baker, and Harold Homburg
1978 First State of Wisconsin job – UW Hospital Outpatient Entrance
1982 Purchased first excavator
1983 Harold Homburg sold his stock
1986 Built the first building located at 3126 Watford Way
1987 Change name to Monona Plumbing and Fire Protection, Inc. Became first locally based company to offer fire protection services
1988 Purchased robotic welder for fire protection system fabrication
1991 Began working on the State of Wisconsin Capitol project which lasted for 11 years
1996 Reached $5 million in sales
1997 Received the Governor’s Award of Excellence in Construction from the State of Wisconsin
2000 John Baker retired, Phil McManamy became the sole shareholder
2000 Reached $10 million in sales
2002 Entered the Mechanical piping/Municipal services market
2002 Refocused and expanded service departments
2002 Purchased second building located at 3118 Watford Way
2002 Brent Williams joins MPFP as CFO
2003 Ownership succession plan implemented.
2005 Began working on the EPIC Systems Campus Project in Verona, WI
2005 Reached $15 million in sales
2006 Brent Williams becomes president of MPFP
2006 Reached $20 million in sales
